A visit to Poacher’s Hide at Tarangire National Park is always breathtaking. This historical old baobab tree served as a hiding place for poachers until the mid-1990s when the park rangers discover it. The poachers made a hole at the bottom of the tree trunk to crawl on the ground into the tree, before closing the entrance with rocks and wood materials to keep animals at bay
