Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a well-coordinated transition awaits. Day 2: Drive to Tarangire National Park
Your day begins with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, followed by a short briefing from your guides before setting off through Arusha toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Along the way, stop at Mto Wa Mbu village to enjoy a flavorful local lunch, a perfect taste of authentic Tanzanian cuisine. Refreshed and ready, continue your journey, taking in the stunning landscapes as you ascend into the highlands.
Upon arrival at your lodge, check in and unwind with some leisure time. As the sun sets, visit a nearby Maasai village for an immersive cultural experience, gaining insight into their rich traditions and way of life.

Day 3: Exploring the Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a day of game viewing at Tarangire National Park, a land of stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. With morning and afternoon game drives, you’ll have plenty of time to explore its diverse landscapes. Visit the famous Silale Swamp and Tarangire River, where large elephant herds gather during the dry season.
Tarangire’s rich ecosystem is home to powerful lions, elusive leopards, swift cheetahs, towering giraffes, and striking zebras. As you traverse this wild paradise, admire ancient baobab trees and the melodies of over 300 bird species.

Day 4: Cultural Encounters and Ngorongoro Highland Retreat
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a morning of wildlife viewing in the spectacular Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic baobab trees, large herds of elephants, and diverse wildlife, this park offers a truly memorable safari experience.
After your exploration of Tarangire, take a scenic drive to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, nestled along the picturesque Mto wa Mbu River. Here, you’ll enjoy an engaging cultural experience, gaining insight into the traditions and lifestyles of the many communities that call this village home.
Savor a delicious local lunch in Mto wa Mbu, relishing the authentic flavors of Tanzanian cuisine. The meal, paired with the warmth and hospitality of the locals, provides an enriching and delightful experience.

Day 5: Discover the depths of the Ngorongoro Crater
Avery early start at around 5:30am, we collect our luggage’s, breakfast and lunch boxes before proceeding with the drive to Ngorongoro conservation area Authority where we will descent into the crater for an in-depth exploration of this distinctive ecosystem. Enjoy abundant wildlife viewing set against this impressive backdrop. These drives provide one of the best opportunities in Africa to view black rhino, which tend to spend their time on the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors. Another big draw card to this picturesque Caldera, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, and if Lucky enough you will have chance to see the small cats like the Rare Caracal, Serval cat as well as the African wild cat which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Picnic Lunch will be served at one of the picnic sites at the crater floor, followed by another game viewing visiting the hippo pool near the Mandusi Swamp, Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner which is one of the main features of the crater, the lerai forest as well as other parts of the crater.in the late evening you will drive to your lodge or Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Timeless Expedition in Olduvai Gorge & the Heart of the Serengeti
After a delightful breakfast at the lodge, set out on a fascinating journey to Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most significant prehistoric sites. This renowned archaeological treasure, famously excavated by Louis and Mary Leakey, has unveiled nearly 60 hominid fossils, dating from 2 million to 17,000 years ago. Day 7 and 8: Explore the Eastern Serengeti Plains and Kopjes - A Scenic Drive Ahead
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the Central-Eastern Serengeti, a region renowned for its diverse landscapes and exceptional wildlife. This unique transition zone blends vast open grasslands with scattered acacia woodlands and rocky kopjes, creating a dynamic ecosystem teeming with life.
Spend the day exploring this untamed wilderness, home to large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, topis, reedbucks, buffalo, baboons, and vervet monkeys. The iconic granite kopjes serve as prime vantage points for predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, making this one of the best areas for big cat sightings.
The Seronera River Valley, a vital water source, sustains resident wildlife year-round and attracts seasonal migrations, leading to dramatic wildlife interactions. Day 11:Scenic Drive Through Lamai: A Secluded Safari in the Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the remote and captivating Lamai area in the Northern Serengeti. Known for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, Lamai offers a more secluded safari experience. As you journey through the open plains dotted with acacia trees and granite kopjes, you may spot giraffes on the horizon, zebras grazing in large herds, and lions resting in the shade.
Upon arrival at your camp in time for lunch, take a moment to relax and enjoy the tranquility of this incredible region. Situated near the Mara River, Lamai is a prime wildlife viewing spot, especially during the Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the river in one of nature’s most dramatic displays. As dawn breaks, depart from the camp with a picnic breakfast in hand, setting off on a thrilling journey to track the massive herds of the Great Migration. The Mara River, glowing in the soft morning light, offers the perfect backdrop for witnessing the breathtaking spectacle of wildebeest and zebras crossing the water. Watch as the herds carefully assess the dangers of crocodiles and unpredictable currents before making their daring plunge.
Find a peaceful spot along the river to enjoy your picnic breakfast, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Serengeti. Afterward, return to camp for a leisurely lunch, giving you time to relax and reflect on the amazing experiences of the morning.

Day 12: A scenic Farewell From Serengeti
Start your day with an early breakfast at the camp, soaking in the peaceful morning ambiance before heading toward Lamai Airstrip. Along the way, enjoy one last opportunity for wildlife viewing as the Serengeti’s vast plains and remarkable animals bid you farewell.
Afterward, board a scenic bush flight from Lamai to Arusha, taking in breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti and surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival, you will visit a nearby cultural heritage site, where you’ll have the option to browse for authentic Tanzanian souvenirs—an excellent way to bring a piece of your adventure home.
A short drive will then take you to Airport Planet Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in a tranquil setting, offering the perfect moment to relax and reflect on your incredible journey. Later, unwind over an early farewell dinner, savoring your final evening in Tanzania before your onward travel arrangements.
