Arrival Day- Drive to Tarangire National Park

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where we will be waiting to meet you once you have cleared customs, we will pick you at Kilimanjaro international airport on our way we will stop for breakfast around Usa river before proceeding with the drive south through Arusha to prehistoric-looking Tarangire National Park where you will arrive at your camp for a late lunch.

After your hot Lunch at your Camp, you will have the afternoon game viewing into a landscape dotted with baobab trees and umbrella-thorn acacias, visiting the Silalei Swamp and Tarangire River are the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. In the dry season large numbers of animals congregate along the life-giving river that provides the only permanent water for wildlife in the area. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. In addition to the animal species, the park is famous for its century-old baobab trees and over 300 species of birds in the park. In the late afternoon you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Upon arrival, prepare to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem that promises an unforgettable exploration. Arrival Day- Drive to Tarangire National Park

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where we will be waiting to meet you once you have cleared customs, we will pick you at Kilimanjaro international airport on our way we will stop for breakfast around Usa river before proceeding with the drive south through Arusha to prehistoric-looking Tarangire National Park where you will arrive at your camp for a late lunch.

After your hot Lunch at your Camp, you will have the afternoon game viewing into a landscape dotted with baobab trees and umbrella-thorn acacias, visiting the Silalei Swamp and Tarangire River are the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. In the dry season large numbers of animals congregate along the life-giving river that provides the only permanent water for wildlife in the area. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. In addition to the animal species, the park is famous for its century-old baobab trees and over 300 species of birds in the park. In the late afternoon you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Arrival Day- Drive to Tarangire National Park

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where we will be waiting to meet you once you have cleared customs, we will pick you at Kilimanjaro international airport on our way we will stop for breakfast around Usa river before proceeding with the drive south through Arusha to prehistoric-looking Tarangire National Park where you will arrive at your camp for a late lunch.

After your hot Lunch at your Camp, you will have the afternoon game viewing into a landscape dotted with baobab trees and umbrella-thorn acacias, visiting the Silalei Swamp and Tarangire River are the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. In the dry season large numbers of animals congregate along the life-giving river that provides the only permanent water for wildlife in the area. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. In addition to the animal species, the park is famous for its century-old baobab trees and over 300 species of birds in the park. In the late afternoon you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

As you make your way to the crater, you’ll witness the stunning landscapes that make this area so special.

Upon arrival, prepare to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem that promises an unforgettable exploration. This magnificent caldera is home to an incredible variety of wildlife set against a breathtaking backdrop. It offers one of the best chances in Africa to see the rare black rhino. The Ngorongoro Crater is known as one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, captivating visitors with its magical scenery and rich animal life. Enjoy abundant wildlife viewing set against this impressive backdrop. These drives provide one of the best opportunities in Africa to view black rhino, which tend to spend their time on the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors. Another big draw card to this picturesque Caldera, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, and if Lucky enough you will have chance to see the small cats like the Rare Caracal, Serval cat as well as the African wild cat which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. After enjoying an early breakfast at your Serengeti camp, your homeward journey starts. En route to the Seronera Airstrip, you’ll have the privilege of indulging in some game viewing, providing a final opportunity to immerse yourself in the Serengeti’s awe-inspiring natural beauty.
Upon reaching the airstrip, you’ll board a domestic flight bound for Arusha. In Arusha, you’ll have the option to visit the Cultural Heritage Center for shopping, where an extensive array of authentic African souvenirs and handicrafts awaits your perusal.

Day 2: Bush Flight to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you will drive to Arusha Airport for your scheduled bush flight to Central Serengeti, arriving at Seronera Airstrip. Our expert guides will be eagerly waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your camp, where a delicious lunch awaits.

After lunch, embark on an exhilarating evening game drive through the Central Serengeti, renowned for its diverse landscapes and rich wildlife. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the Central-Eastern Serengeti, a region famous for its varied landscapes and abundant wildlife. This dynamic area blends vast open grasslands with scattered acacia woodlands and rocky kopjes, creating a rich ecosystem full of life.

On the first day, explore this untamed wilderness, home to large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, topis, reedbucks, buffalo, baboons, and vervet monkeys. The iconic granite kopjes serve as prime vantage points for spotting predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, making this region one of the best for big cat sightings.

The Seronera River Valley, a vital water source, attracts wildlife year-round and provides dramatic wildlife interactions, especially during the seasonal migrations. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Ndutu, enjoying an en-route game drive through the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti. Arrive at Canopy Migration Camp in time for lunch, where you can relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings.

Later in the evening, set out for another exhilarating game drive in the Ndutu region, a prime location for witnessing the Great Migration. This area’s open plains and seasonal marshes attract vast herds of wildebeest and zebras, along with an array of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. As the sun sets over the savanna, return to camp and unwind beneath the starlit African sky, reflecting on the day’s unforgettable encounters with wildlife.

Day 6 and 7: Two Days in Ndutu: A Journey Through the Wild Heart of the Serengeti

Enjoy two full days of game drives exploring the Ndutu Forest and the southern plains of the Serengeti. From December to May, this area becomes a haven for vast herds of wildebeest and zebras during the Great Migration, creating one of Africa’s most unforgettable wildlife experiences.

Your adventure takes you through diverse and scenic landscapes. Visit the shores of Lake Masek and Lake Ndutu, wander through the acacia woodlands of Ndutu Forest, and discover the peaceful Hidden Valley, all alive with wildlife and beautiful views. Continue across the open Kakesio Valley and Plains, where the endless horizon captures the true spirit of the African wilderness.

Ndutu is famous for its high concentration of predators. Cheetahs chase their prey across the plains, nomadic lions follow the herds, and hyenas patiently wait for their chance. During the calving season, thousands of wildebeest and zebras give birth, filling the plains with new life and great photo opportunities.

As the sun sets, return to camp for a peaceful evening under the stars, surrounded by the serenity of the Serengeti.

Day 8: A Scenic Farewell to Ndutu

After an early breakfast at the camp, enjoy a final game drive through Ndutu’s vast plains, bidding farewell to its incredible wildlife. Then, transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for your scenic bush flight to Arusha, taking in breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti.

Upon arrival, visit a nearby cultural heritage site for an opportunity to browse authentic Tanzanian souvenirs. A short drive will then take you to Airport Planet Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in a peaceful setting. Later, unwind over an early farewell dinner, savoring your last evening in Tanzania before your onward journey.
