Small Group Photo Safari Workshops in Tanzania

At Africa Nature Photography and Safaris, we believe the best photographic journeys are personal, focused, and inspiring. That’s why we design small-group photo safari workshops across Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations — from the sweeping plains of the Serengeti to the elephant-rich landscapes of Tarangire, the volcanic majesty of Ngorongoro, and the remote wilderness of Ruaha and Nyerere.

Each workshop is limited to just a few participants, with a maximum of three photographers per vehicle. This exclusivity ensures comfort, space, and flexibility, giving you unobstructed views, room for your equipment, and the freedom to move with ease when those once-in-a-lifetime moments appear. A small group also means more personal guidance, a relaxed pace, and a shared sense of discovery with like-minded photographers.

Our workshops are led by professional wildlife photographers who share their craft and vision directly in the field. From capturing the golden light of dawn on the savannah to freezing the action of a predator’s hunt, you will receive expert, hands-on guidance in technical skills, composition, and storytelling through your lens. Even before you travel, we connect participants with the photographer to discuss goals, answer questions, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

To make your experience seamless and rewarding, we carefully select photography friendly camps and lodges that combine comfort with prime locations. These handpicked stays offer quick and easy access to key wildlife areas, so you spend less time traveling and more time in the field, positioned exactly where you need to be when the action unfolds. After a day of adventure, return to camp to relax, share stories, review your work, and recharge for the next morning’s light.

A small-group photo safari workshop with us is more than just a chance to improve your skills. It is an immersive journey into wild Africa, where every day brings extraordinary sightings, unforgettable encounters, and the chance to create images and memories that will last a lifetime.

Explore our seasonal photo safaris, choose your ideal travel season, and we will match you with a photo safari workshop led by a skilled wildlife photographer.
